Deuteronomy 29:10-30:20
10"You are standing today all of you before the LORD your God: the heads of your tribes,[a] your elders, and your officers, all the men of Israel, 11your little ones, your wives, and the(A) sojourner who is in your camp, from(B) the one who chops your wood to the one who draws your water, 12so that you may enter into the(C) sworn covenant of the LORD your God, which the LORD your God is making with you today, 13that he may(D) establish you today as his people, and that(E) he may be your God, as he promised you, and(F) as he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. 14It is not with you alone(G) that I am making this sworn covenant, 15but with whoever is standing here with us today before the LORD our God,(H) and with whoever is not here with us today.
16"You know how we lived in the land of Egypt, and how we came through the midst of the nations through which you passed. 17And you have seen their detestable things, their idols of wood and stone, of silver and gold, which were among them. 18Beware lest there be among you a man or woman or clan or tribe whose heart is turning away today from the LORD our God to go and serve the gods of those nations. Beware lest there be among you(I) a root bearing poisonous and bitter fruit, 19one who, when he hears the words of this sworn covenant, blesses himself in his heart, saying, 'I shall be safe, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart.' This will lead to the sweeping away of moist and dry alike. 20The LORD will not be willing to forgive him, but rather(J) the anger of the LORD and(K) his jealousy will smoke against that man, and the curses written in this book will settle upon him, and the LORD(L) will blot out his name from under heaven. 21And the LORD will single him out from all the tribes of Israel for calamity, in accordance with all the curses of the covenant written in this Book of the Law. 22And the next generation, your children who rise up after you, and the foreigner who comes from a far land,(M) will say, when they see the afflictions of that land and the sicknesses with which the LORD has made it sick— 23the whole land burned out with brimstone and(N) salt, nothing sown and nothing growing, where no plant can sprout,(O) an overthrow like that of Sodom and Gomorrah,(P) Admah, and Zeboiim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger and wrath— 24all the nations(Q) will say,(R) 'Why has the LORD done thus to this land? What caused the heat of this great anger?' 25Then people will say, 'It is because they abandoned the covenant of the LORD, the God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them out of the land of Egypt, 26and went and served other gods and worshiped them, gods whom they had not known and whom he had not allotted to them. 27Therefore the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land,(S) bringing upon it all the curses written in this book, 28and the LORD(T) uprooted them from their land in anger and fury and great wrath, and(U) cast them into another land, as they are this day.'
29"The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.
Deuteronomy 30
Repentance and Forgiveness 1(V) "And(W) when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and(X) you call them to mind among all the nations where the LORD your God has driven you, 2and(Y) return to the LORD your God, you and your children, and obey his voice in all that I command you today, with all your heart and with all your soul, 3then the LORD your God(Z) will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you, and he will(AA) gather you again from all the peoples where the LORD your God has scattered you. 4(AB) If your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there the LORD your God will gather you, and from there he will take you. 5And the LORD your God will bring you into the land that your fathers possessed, that you may possess it.(AC) And he will make you more prosperous and numerous than your fathers. 6And(AD) the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring,(AE) so that you will love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live. 7And the LORD your God will put all these curses on your foes and enemies who persecuted you. 8And you shall again obey the voice of the LORD and keep all his commandments that I command you today. 9(AF) The LORD your God will make you abundantly prosperous in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your womb and in the fruit of your cattle and in the fruit of your ground.(AG) For the LORD will again take delight in prospering you, as he took delight in your fathers, 10when you obey the voice of the LORD your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes that are written in this Book of the Law, when you turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
The Choice of Life and Death 11"For this commandment that I command you today(AH) is not too hard for you, neither is it far off. 12(AI) It is not in heaven, that you should say, 'Who will ascend to heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?' 13Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, 'Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?' 14But the word is very near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you can do it.
15"See,(AJ) I have set before you today life and good, death and evil. 16If you obey the commandments of the LORD your God[b] that I command you today,(AK) by loving the LORD your God, by walking in his ways, and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his rules,[c] then you shall live and multiply, and the LORD your God will bless you in the land that you are entering to take possession of it. 17But if(AL) your heart turns away, and you will not hear, but are drawn away to worship other gods and serve them, 18(AM) I declare to you today, that you shall surely perish. You shall not live long in the land that you are going over the Jordan to enter and possess. 19I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death,(AN) blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, 20loving the LORD your God, obeying his voice(AO) and holding fast to him, for(AP) he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in(AQ) the land that the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them."
Isaiah 61:10-63:9
10(A) I will greatly rejoice in the LORD; my soul shall exult in my God,(B) for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the robe of righteousness,as a bridegroom decks himself(C) like a priest with a beautiful headdress, (D) and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.11For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to sprout up,so the Lord GOD will cause(E) righteousness and praise to sprout up before all the nations.
Isaiah 62
Zion’s Coming Salvation 1(F) For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not be quiet,(G) until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch.2(H) The nations shall see your righteousness, and all the kings your glory,(I) and you shall be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will give.3You shall be(J) a crown of beauty in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.4(K) You shall no more be termed(L) Forsaken,[a] and your land shall no more be termed Desolate,[b](M) but you shall be called(N) My Delight Is in Her,[c] and your land Married;[d]for the LORD delights in you, and your land shall be married.5For as a young man marries a young woman, so(O) shall your sons marry you,and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so(P) shall your God rejoice over you.
6On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set(Q) watchmen;all the day and all the night they shall never be silent. You who put the LORD in remembrance, take no rest,7and give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes it(R) a praise in the earth.8The LORD has sworn(S) by his right hand and by his mighty arm:"I will not again give(T) your grain to be food for your enemies,(U) and foreigners shall not drink your wine for which you have labored;9but(V) those who garner it shall eat it and praise the LORD,and those who gather it shall drink it in the courts of my sanctuary."[e]
10Go through, go through the gates; (W) prepare the way for the people;(X) build up, build up the highway; clear it of stones; (Y) lift up a signal over the peoples.11Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the end of the earth:(Z) Say to the daughter of Zion, (AA) "Behold, your salvation comes;behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him."12(AB) And they shall be called The Holy People, The Redeemed of the LORD;(AC) and you shall be called Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.
Isaiah 63
The LORD’s Day of Vengeance 1Who is this who comes from(AD) Edom, in crimsoned garments from(AE) Bozrah,he who is splendid in his apparel, marching in the greatness of his strength?"It is I, speaking in righteousness, mighty to save."
2Why is your(AF) apparel red, and your garments like his(AG) who treads in the winepress?
3(AH) "I have trodden the winepress alone, (AI) and from the peoples no one was with me;I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath;their lifeblood[f] spattered on my garments, and stained all my apparel.4(AJ) For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and my year of redemption[g] had come.5I looked, but(AK) there was no one to help; I was appalled, but there was no one to uphold;so my own arm brought me salvation, and my wrath upheld me.6I trampled down the peoples in my anger; (AL) I made them drunk in my wrath, and I poured out their lifeblood on the earth."
The LORD’s Mercy Remembered 7I will recount the steadfast love of the LORD, the praises of the LORD,according to all that the LORD has granted us, (AM) and the great goodness to the house of Israelthat he has granted them according to his compassion, according to the abundance of his steadfast love.8For he said, "Surely they are my people, children who will not deal falsely." And he became their Savior.9(AN) In all their affliction he was afflicted,[h] and the angel of his presence saved them;(AO) in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; (AP) he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.
Romans 10:1-12
1Brothers,[a] my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved. 2For I bear them witness that(A) they have a zeal for God,(B) but not according to knowledge. 3For, being ignorant of(C) the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. 4For(D) Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.[b]
The Message of Salvation to All 5For(E) Moses writes about the righteousness that is based on the law, that(F) the person who does the commandments shall live by them. 6But(G) the righteousness based on faith says,(H) "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'" (that is, to bring Christ down) 7or "'Who will descend into the(I) abyss?'" (that is,(J) to bring Christ up from the dead). 8But what does it say?(K) "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); 9because, if(L) you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and(M) believe in your heart(N) that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 11For the Scripture says,(O) "Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame." 12(P) For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek;(Q) for the same Lord is Lord of all,(R) bestowing his riches on all who call on him.

I was just telling a friend that I had heard a song and I wanted to search the word, CRIMSON. I ended up in 2 Chronicles 2:7-9;14, Is. 1:18 and Jer.22:14 and was wondering-what's the deal with red? Thank you to who put Is. 63:1-6 on the blog and thank you to Jesus who is righteous and able to powerfully deliver us! Let us never underestimate His power that comes with our prayers for others nor forget the sadness we cause the Holy Spirit when we neglect to offer them. CRIMSON is a word headed straight to the heart of this prayer person.
